Facebook messenger app can be used on any device that is Google supported and has a 3g or higher network mode. To download the Facebook messenger app,
- You have to launch the play store on your smartphone or the iOS store on your iPhone or Apple device.
- Now you have to take advantage of the search bar by using it to search for Facebook messenger.
- On the results page, you would see an app with the name “Facebook messenger” and a blue chat picture with white lightning on it. Click on that one and hit install from the new page.
After installation, you can log in to the app using your Facebook account details. Also, note that messenger instant games can only be played using this version of Facebook messenger.
Facebook Messenger Lite
I might as well say that this is the universal Facebook messaging app. This app can be accessed and used on almost any android device. This app also functions on java phones. Messenger Lit app works on 2g, 3g, and all other networks mode above.

Like the Facebook messenger app, it can also be accessed and installed from the Google play store on android devices and iOS store on iPhone and Apple devices. To install the app on your device,
- Launch the application store on your device and search for “Facebook messenger lite”.
- You would see an app labeled “Facebook messenger lite” with a white chat image and blue lightning across it.
- Click that one and hit install on the new page.
Once the app is installed, launch it and fill the login form with your Facebook account details to start texting your Facebook friends.
